When you visit two islands in Hawaii, you’re also getting the most bang for your buck. Without a doubt, your airfare to Hawaii is the single most expensive item when you compare apples to apples. Although your hotel will also be a large portion of the vacation budget, that cost is split amongst all the travelers in one room. The cost of your flights is per person. Therefore, it makes sense to see as much as possible in one trip.
