Budget Hotels in Hawaii
Over the last few months I’ve shared info about several of the Deluxe and First Class hotels found in our Hawaii vacation packages, but today my focus will be on budget, economy and “saver” hotels. Aloha Hawaiian Vacations utilizes three of these in our series of Saver Vacation Packages. We offer these to help those wanting to save on their Hawaii Vacation, yet be in good locations, and for those who are not wanting to spend much money on their hotel room and who will be satisfied with basic room accommodations. These rooms and properties are OK – but are not for those seeking First Class or Deluxe.
We offer the Aloha Surf Waikiki on Oahu. This property is located in the heart of Waikiki near to most of Waikiki’s best activities and restaurants. It’s near the Ala Wai Waterway and the famous Ala Wai Golf Course is nearby. The rooms at the Aloha Surf Waikiki are small but nice – and are some of the best budget rooms found in Waikiki – especially when considering the excellent location of this property. I own a condo in Waikiki near this hotel – and have spent years in this excellent location.
On Kauai, we offer the Kauai Shores Hotel which is a beachfront property. This hotel is located near Kapaa – which is the perfect location for exploring and enjoying Kauai. A recent Hollywood movie was filmed at this hotel. Again, may I state that this is Not a Deluxe property, but a Budget property, and it offers an excellent value for those needing to save.
On Maui, we offer the Kaanapali Ocean Inn. This oceanfront economy hotel has budget rooms – and the ocean view rooms are only a stone’s throw from famous Kaanapali Beach – Hawaii’s second most popular beach. It is located on the grounds of the Royal Lahaina Resort and is less than a 10-minute drive from historical and quaint Lahaina – the “night-place” to be in Maui. This economy property is three stories and has no elevators; however, the Bellman will handle your luggage of course.
Each of these hotels is our choice as best economy (budget) hotels for Oahu (Waikiki), Kauai and Maui, but may I again remind you that these rooms are basic at best. You can learn more about these by clicking the links below.
